Fracture treatment

Failing to x-ray fractures/applying splints too tightly/applying plaster casts too tightly
Some fractures are particularly difficult to spot on x-ray e.g. scaphoid. Appropriate films should be asked for in these cases. Any clinical suspicion should be checked by x-ray. It is also important to ensure that the patient has splint/cast checked and is aware of signs of potential problems.

If you feel that you need to sue your hospital, or simply make a complaint against the NHS, please submit your details via the enquiry form.
